Henderson, Whihley, Freenum, Thompson, MeCnll, Brynnl, Coley Stevenson, nnd Simmons. The Town Clerk's risie-tmlion, ns follows, was received : "I respectfully request 11ml you neeepl my resjoqmlion of Ihe ofliee of Town Clerk, to terminnle one month from dnte.” II was decided, on (lie motion of (lie Mnyor, seconded hy Cr Coley, that the resic-tm I ion of Air Irwin ns Town Clerk nnd Borough Treasurer he accepted, nnd thnt he lie released from his duties nl once ; nnd Unit (he Mayor nnd Cr Henderson, in eon junel ion wit It Miss Berthold, he appointed to formally take matters over from him.
It was further decided on the motion of Mayor, seconded o\ Cr Henderson, Hint the Mayor he authorised to write to Mr AA. Waters, Town Clerk of Paeroa, and ask him if he is still prepared to take it)) the duties of Town Clerk at Eoxton, and how soon he could lake up the duties.
