FULLER'S PICTURES
The current programme at Fuller’s contains an item of exceptional merit in a mugnitiicent production by the Lubin Company, entitled “In Love’s Own- Way,” a strong dramatic story with a good moral and a happy ending. Supporting pictures are : A merry and bright laugh propeller, “Pimple’s Scrap of Paper” : a laugh-making story, “He Fell in the . Park” ; an interesting number of the favourite weekly news, “Australian Gazette, No. -72” ; n most interesting film subject, “Red Cross Dogs” ; a merry comedy, “Mr Jarr and Love’s Young Dream.” “NO GREATER LOVE.” On Monday and Tuesday the great picture, “No Greater Love,” will he screened at the Town Hall. Never before has a photo-drama marked with such beautiful emphasis the love of a woman for her child. It is a drama of intensity throughout, revealing the wonderful power of mother love. Huslnpid, lame, life itself are all surrendered in one glorious sacrifice for the child the woman bore. “Sadunah the Dancer,” has a daughter, whom she wishes to defend from the perils of the world and see comfortably settled. Pursuing her side ambition, she marries a rich financier, and, when he gets into serious straits, compels him to commit murder. But she, too, is ready to
sacrilicc, and the call coming, Sadunali, at whose I'ect the artistic world has paid homage, “goes West" to save her child, ll is a great conception, and Mdllo Regina Bade! has given a moving interpretation of the soul-stirring story. "Xo Greater Love’’ is an attraction which cannot fail. One great charm is its naturalness. Xo incident in the story is either bizarre or unreal, hut the climax is exactly a deed such a mother as Sudnah would commit for her daughter’s sake.
