The. Rev. I). C. Bates wired today as follows: —
Westerly wind strong to gale, and iiaeking by west to south. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled ; vain probable. The weather will probably become colder. The barometer lias a falling tendency, but rising soon. Sea heavy, tides good.
