GRAND PATRIOTIC ENTERTAINMENT.

The public of Boston arc promised a musical treat on Friday next, the sth ultimo, when the Queen Alexandria Regimental Band (Wanganui) will give a grand patriotic entertainment in aid of the local Girls’ Guild. Lieutenant Buckley, New Zealand’s champion cornetist, is conductor of this band, and is making all the arrangements for the Boston entertainment, whieh is sufficient guarantee that-same will be of a very high order. The programme, with the exeepiion of a song by Miss Signal, will be eomposed entirely of instrumental items by the Baud and members of the Band, and will include cornet, euphonium, trumpet and concertina j.olos.
