OBITUARY.

The death took place at the district hospital this morning of Mr Charles Schulti, after a long and painful illness, aged 50 years. The late Mr Schulcz was a wellknown figure on the local waterfront, and was employed for many years as head storeman by Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd. He was a member of the local Oddfellows Lodge. The late Mr Schultz is survived by a wife and stepdaughter, who will have the sympathy of the townspeople. The funeral will take place tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon, immediately after the arrival of the Palmerston train.
