THREATENING BEHAVIOUR.

Dyson Webb and John Taylor pleaded guilty at yesterday’s sitting of the Magistrate’s Court to behaving in a threatening manner in Main Street whereby a breach of the peace was occasioned. The Magistrate inflicted a fine of 10s with costs 7s in each case and on the application of the police a prohibition order was granted against Webb. Henry Procter was also charged with behaving in a threatening manner whereby a breach of the peace may have been occasioned. Constable Woods said that when served with the summons defendant said he would not be able to attend court but would plead guilty.

Defendant was fined 10s with costs 7s.
