Commissioner Hodder’s Salvation Army scheme to provide homes in the Dominion to accommodate two hundred war'orphans is meeting generous support in Hawke’s Bay., Staff ■ Captain Sharp in four days collected ,£1746, including Mrs T. H. Lowry’s ,£SOO, which provides a gift ward. The total amount collected to date is A total of ,£IO,OOO is required to complete the scheme.
