SHANNON NOTES.
(Own Correspondent.) A committee, with Mr G. N. Stevenson as chairman, has been set up at Shannon for the purpose of rendering assistance to a widow with ten small children, who has been left in very straitened circumstances. It is proposed to purchase a house, to be held iu trust by the committee for the family.
