GRAND NATIONAL CONCERT.
TO-MORROW NIGHT,
The programme to be submitted to the public in the Town Hall to-morrow night is sufficiently attractive and versatile to draw a crowded house. Besides our best local talent the public will have an opportunity of hearing one of Wanganui’s foremost amateur entertainers in the person of Miss Sedgewick. This young lady possesses a pleasing stage appearance and is at home in items grave and gay. Among the other contributors to the programme are well-known local performers, A novel item will be the rendering in Maori of “Tipperary” by Mr Morris. The convent school children will contribute choruses. At the conclusion of the concert a dance will be held at which gents, will be charged is and ladies free. The accompaniments will be played by Miss White.
