Hemp is thus referred to in the Bank of New Zealand’s latest produce circular (dated London, 7th January).—>• Hemp: Offers from the Dominion are very scarce. On che other hand the enquiry has been very strong and holders have been able to obtain a further advance in prices. Current prices : Good fair 10s at 15s, high point fair 10s at £zi 15s, and fair ,£36 10s at £?,6 15s ; these prices being ,£l2 per ton higher than twelve, months ago.
