ENTERTAINMENTS.

FULLER’S PICTURES.!

There was a record attendance at the Town'Hall last night to witness the initial screening of “Such a Little Queen,” featuring the popular actress Mary Pickford. In “Such a Little Queen” Miss Pickford has the role of Queen Anna Victoria, of Herzgo vina, and her performance is of that rare quality which we always expect from such a consummate artiste. Comedy and drama are alike to her, she is as delightful in one as she is moving in the other. Supporting items consist of; “The Great War,” a series of interesting pictures from the seat of war ; “Bud Blossoms,” comedy ; “The Cotton Industry,” interest; and “The Man Who Couldn’t Sleep,” comic.

WEDNESDAY —One night only. The most thrilling episode of “The Million Dollar Mystery” will be screened at the Town Hall to-morrow night for one night only, in “The Leap from an Ocean Liner,” Having succeeded in making Florence believe her sweetheart, Norton, false, the conspirators strive desperately to get Florence into their power and to rid themselves of Norton’s presence in the game. They secure a medical certificate, signed, under threats, by two doctors to the effect that Florence is insane, cleverly abduct her right under the nose of the police, and carry her aboard an outgoing ocean liner. This episode thrills with startling action. Florence, when tar out at sea, leaps from the liner in the dead of night, battles with the waves, is finally rescued by a fishing schooner, and carried to the humble fisherman’s home. But her mind is a blank ! Some excellent supporting items are : “Big Gun Manufacture,” interest ; “Those Fatal Finger Prints,” comedy; “Highlander Milk Industry,” industrial ; “Hearts to Let,” drama; “Pathe Gazette” ; and “Billie’s Debut,” comic.
