AUTUMN SHOW.

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY NEXT.

The Autumn Show in connection with the local Horticultural Society will be held in the Town Hall on Thursday and Friday next, 9th and xoth insts. Schedules and entry forms may be obtained trom the secretary, Mr H. C. Patterson. Entries close on Tuesday night, at 10 o’clock, late entries 9 o’clock night betore the Show. It is hoped all growers of fruit, flowers and vegetables will exhibit, and thus assist the society to fulfil its educational functions.

Pot plants and cut blooms will be judged by Mr F. Penn, of Otaki; fruit, vegetables, and farm produce, Mr A. J. Shailer, Palmerston N. ; dairy produce, cookery and home industries, Mrs J. A. Nash, Palmerston N. ; decorative, Mrs Bradfield, Palmerston N.
