Very keen iute r ' s being evinced in the twenty minutes ’tournaments played on the local lawns this year. Another of these was played yesterday afternoon for a trophy presented by Mrs Evans. It was won by Miss Speirs. The following were the scores; Miss Speirs 36, Miss B. Speirs 35, Mrs Perreau 31, Miss Edwards 29, Mrs Woods 2i, Mrs McColl 20, Miss Ross 19, Mrs Bryant 19, Mrs Parkes x 6. East week’s competition was won by Miss B. Speirs, the trophy being presented by Mrs McColl. The scores were ; Miss B.
