FULLER’S PICTURES,
A programme of exceptional merit was screened at the Town Hall last night, the outstanding feature being a particularly fine production by the Vitagraph Co. entitled, “The Silent Plea.” A young widow is left penniless. Her children are placed in an orphanage, but they are becoming incorrigibles. The little widow appeals to an old friend, a Senator, who pleads so well in Congress that provision is made to meet such cases. Every scene is full of charm and pathos, the end having a delightful thrill all its own. 'Others are : “When Charlie was a Child,” farce ; “The Soul of a Vase,” drama; “Ham at the Beach,” farce; “A Lily in Bohemia.” drama ; “Australia Gazette.” In addition to this splendid programme is a Charlie Chaplin feature entitled, “Mabel’s Married Life.” MONDAY AND TUESDAY. The change of programme for Monday and Tuesday is a particularly good one, featuring as a star item a magnificent Vitagraph broadway success, entitled, “Two Women,” featuring Anita Stewart and Earle Williams. It is a play that one follows, through every phase with ever increasing interest, the end being most dramatic and a complete surprise. Other pictures of interest are: “Mabel’s Wilful Way,” Keystone comic ; “Making Shell and Shrapnel,” interest ; “The Man he Might Have Been,” drama , “From Mountain to Plain,” scenic ; “Cartoons in a Parlour,” novelty ;and “Gaumont Graphic.”
