A special message from Mr Malcolm Ross, the New Zealand war correspondent, at Suez, states: “The first of the 9th Reinforcements recently arrived, having made a speedy voyage. The men are in good form. There was very little sickness. The ship was met by Colonel Rhodes and several New Zealand officers. The men disembark to-morrow, and will encamp at Zeitoun for further training.”
