BOWLING.
Yesterday afternoon members of the local club paid a visit to Otakl. Three rinks made the trip and each was defeated by the home rinks. ' Rimmer’s team played the holders of the Kinniburgh Feathers, but these trophies still remain in Otaki, The visitors were very hospitably entertained and spent a most enjoyable afternoon. One of the Foxton rinks had the privilege of playing against a lady bowler, the home team being a player short and Mrs Hodge filled the vacancy. It is probable that an Otaki rink or rinks will visit Foxton before the end of the season. The following are the teams and scores ; Otaki Foxton. F. H. Bright D. Whibley Anderson Walker Bills Nye A. Bright (s) 41 Rimmer (s) 12 Ayre Healey Petrie Smith Edwards F. Whibley Noble (s) 29 Woods (s') 8 Gooding Gardes Mrs Hodge Ad more Booth Spring Smith (s) 25 MoColl (s) 15 Totals 95 35
