DEATH OF A CHILD.
mother charged with INFANTICIDE. An inquest touching the death of the child of Jessie Stuart, which was found dead at Komako on January 24th, was continued before Mr J. W. Poynton, District Coroner, at the Palmerston Magistrate’s Court yesterday afternoon. Accused pleaded not guilty, reserved her defence, and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail was allowed, self in and one surety of £IOO.
