FIRE AT NAPIER.

TIMBER YARD & FACTORY ABLAZE. ADJOINING PREMISES IN DANGER. Napier, January 26. A fire to-night destroyed the coal and wood yard and factory of Bull Bros., Port Ahuriri. A fairly stiff north-easterly wind was blowing, and the timber, of which there was a vety large stock on hand, burned with startling rapidity. The fire started in the boiler room of the factory, and was first noticed by several tram passengers. The timber yard and factory and a house adjoining were completely destroyed. Two valuable horses owned by the firm were burned to death. The damage is estimated at ,£25,000.
