ENTERTAINMENT.

FULLER’S PICTURES.' There was a record attendance at the Town Hall last night to witness the third episode of the popular serial picture, “The Million Dollar Mystery,” “A Leap in the Dark.” Reports having come to hand that an ocean steamer has brought ashore a stranger rescued from a wrecked balloon with 5,000 dollars in his pocket, Norton sets out to find him. The scenes shift from one place to another, as the gang endeavour to secure their victim. Faster grows the action, and more spectacular the sensations, as each episode is revealed upon the screen. The supporting items are exceptionally good, and include a Keystone new society comedy, “Mabel Won and Lost.” FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.

A programme of exceptional merit has teen arranged for Friday and Saturday. The Majestic Company presents a feature drama, featuring Dorothy Gish, “Victorine.” This is a stirring story of the inner circle oi circus life. A young performer is engaged to assist a knife-thrower in his hazardous performance. _ She thinks she is in love with the “strong man” of the circus, but when he forces her to stand up in the act while the knife-thrower is intoxicated, she realises that her heart has prompted her in the wrong way. An hospital experience shows her the real man whom she loves. Another star Ucm is “The Greater Strength,” which tells of a young physician of unusual strength, who through the accidental crippling of a friend during a wrestling bout, vows that he will never again use his phenomenal strength except to save a life. The end of the play carries a delightful thrill. The supporting items are equally meritorious. On Saturday afternoon and evening, in addition to this splendid programme, there will be a 2,000 ft. comedy featuring our old friend, Charlie Chapliu.
