Wellington, Dec. 23. Statistics collected to November 10 give the following acreages under crop in the districts named, for threshing only : Marlborough = 5247 wheat, 5573 oats, 6528 barley, 2389 peas. Nelson : 8084 wheat, 8466 oats, 1860 barley, 19 maize, 32S peas. Westland: 137 oats. Canterbury; 226,417 wheat, 158,762 oats, 7799 barley 19 maize, 5530 peas. Preliminary totals, 1915-16 : 239,748 wheat, 172,938 oats, x6,rßy barley, 38 maize, 8247 peas. Totals, 1914-15; 167,088 wheat, 114,071 oats, 9310 barley, 89 maize, 12,157 peas. Increase in 1915-16: 72,660 wheat, 58,867 oats, 6877 barley. Decreases: 51 maize, 3910 peas.
