SERIOUS COLLISION.
TRAIN RUNS INTO AMBULANCE WAGON. Carterton, Dec. 20, A train ran into a military ambulance wagon at the Bank of New Zealand crossing, Featherston, this morning. Six men were on the wagon, and all were . injured, some seriously. One horse was killed, and the other severely Injured. Further information is to the effect that two of the men are so seriously injured that it is doubtful if they will survive. Lieut.Col. N. P. Adams, Camp Commandant at Tauherenikau, and Lieut. J. W. Sikock, Camp Adjutant, were promptly on the scene and assisted in attending to the injured men.
