ENTERTAINMENTS.

FULLER’S PICTURES,

“WHERE IS MY WANDERING BOY TO-NIGHT ?” Monday’s change of programme is headed by an Edison dramatic feature, filled with powerful dramatic incidents embodying that song of fondest memory, “Where is my Wandering Boy To night? 1 ' The drama is written around the song that stirs the emotion and pulls at the heart strings. It depicts the eternal triangle of love —mother, son and wife. Though all three are separated from one another, and years have stretched their weary lengths between, the story culminates when destiny, like a bird, unfolds its wings and gathers in its young. Warren Dean was a musical composer. His father, disliking the idea of his sou’s vocation, drove him from his home. Warren left a melody which he had just completed. After his departure, the father regretted the act, and the mother, unable to find her son, found some comfort in putting the words, “Oh, Where is my Wandering Boy To-night ?” One follows the story of the son’s eventful life with a poignant grief for his sorrows and a smile lor his success. Supporting items constitute a really fine programme. TO-NIGHT. A special feature of to-night’s programme is a drama of the Customs Department and smugglers, “Her Husband’s Honour.” It is well mounted, splendidly acted and absorbs one’s interest from start to finish. Other items of interest are : “Chicago Excursion Disaster,” interest ; “The Understudy,” drama; “Australian Gazette” ; “Just Retribution,” drama; and “Some Romance,” comic.
