FULLER’S PICTURES. The current programme at the Town Hall is of a very high standard. The star feature is by the London Photo Play Company entitled, “Lil o’ London.” It is a powerfully constructed drama of London slum and society lite and holds one from start to finish. Other items of interest are ; “Picturesque California,” scenic ; “William Henry Jones’ Courtship,” comedy ; “The Phantom Thief,” drama ; “Hogan’s Aristocratic Dream,” Keystone comic ; and “The Latest Gazette.” WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY. The change of programme for Wednesday and Thursday is headed by a brilliant Lubin production, namely, “Rated at Ten Millions.” This fascinating story of New York life • ■'•■vs how Samuel Ellis and hu wife are living by their wits, and in their desire to obtain social advancement, bring the beautiful daughter of the first. Mrs Ellis from school. On the train the girl is robbed by a swell thief. In her predicament and embarrassment she is assisted by a young gentleman on the opposite seat. Chance is a fair arbiter in our lives, and the chance that brought the young lady into the life of the gentleman and made him an object of devotion to the young lady, also weaves a set of exciting and romantic situations full of appeal, even to the most prosaic person. The “gentleman thief” and the lather and mother of the heroine are typical adventurers, and by reason of the characterisations the picture carries with it, it is a certain educational value to unworldly people. Other items supporting this picture are of exceptional merit.
