FIRE AT ROPE WORKS.
Auckland, Nov. 30. A fire broke out in the storeroom of the rope and twine works of Donaghy and Co., Ltd., and did considerable damage to a quantity of hemp. The stock was insured for ,£10,350 in several offices and the building for ,£ISOO in the New Zealand Office. The damage cannot be estimated at present.
