MOTOR FATALITY.
Ashburton, Nov. 30. Edward Shirley, a farmer, of Lauriston, with his wife and six-year-old child, were motoring home from a concert at Lauriston in the early hours of the morning, when the car skidded, and capsized. The child was flung clear, but the husband and wife were pinned under the vehicle. Mrs Shirley was killed, and Shirley was badly bruised and cut.
