FOXTON DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB.

Mr S. J. Hartley, of Hiraatangl, has presented apperture sight as a trophy to be fired for on the following conditions, viz., first man getting 9 points to win the trophy. Win counts 3, second 2, third 1. Seven shots and sighter at 200, 500 and 600 yards with “v” sight, all members not owning an apperture sight are eligible to shoot for this trophy. Mr G. 0. Barber’s trophy is to be fired under the same conditions and ranges and to be open to apperture owners. A practice shoot will be held on Saturday next.
