FOXTON PATRIOTIC SOCIETY.

WOUNDED SOLDIERS FUND

Attention is drawn to the advertisement of the above Society calling a public meeting at 8 o’clock to night (Thursday) at the Council Chambers to devise means of collecting funds tor the Wounded Soldiers’ Fund.

The officials of the Society feci that they have not received that public support the aim in view Remands, and want an indication at to-night’s meeting that they are going to receive sufficient support to enable their work to be successfully accomplished. An interesting and novel scheme of collection will be submitted for discussion, arrangements made regarding the Patriotic Concert to be held during December and also consideration of the carnival scheme. Everybody is invited to be present.
