WEDDING.
WOODS—NEWTH
A pretty wedding was celebrated in AH Saints’ Church on Tuesday when Mr John Woods, eldest son of Mr Woods, of Masterton, was married to Emily Effie, third daughter of Mr and Mrs M. Ncwth, of Mouloa. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attended by Miss Hazel Newth (cousin) and Miss Ellen Pigott, as bridesmaids. Mr H. McKegney officiated as best man and Mr Stanley Newth (brother of the bride) as groomsman. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at the residence of the bride’s parents, when the usual toasts were honoured. A large number of presents were received, both parties being very popular in the district. Mr and Mrs Woods left by the afternoon train for Wanganui where the honeymoon will be spent, after which they will take np their residence at Palmerston North.
