DEDICATION SERVICE.

On Sunday morning there took place in All Saints’ Church the dedication of a beautiful stainedglass window given by Messrs Robinson Bros, in memory of their mother. The service was taken by the vicar who used the form prescribed for use in the diocese. The window is a tribute to the skill of the craftsman. The subject is “Charity” and the artist has portrayed a woman possessing this grace to the full by her care of little children. The figures are set in an Eastern background. The window must be seen for its beauty to be appreciated, and it is a worthy adornment of the House of God and will be a joy to the congregation of the church. The vicar based his remarks on St. Paul’s message to the people of Corinth—the marvellous chapter which extols the beauty of love •( 1 Cor, xrn.) He thanked the donors lor the gift and said how much it would be appreciated by the congregation and also by future congregations. He stressed the message it brought, the need of love and pointed out how that if vve possess all tilings—but lacked the greatest of all—we failed. He exhorted them to think charitably, to talk charitably, to act charitably.
