ENTERTAINMENTS.

FULLER'S PICTURES,

A well selected series ol pictures constituted a splendid programme at the Town Hall last night. An outstanding feature being one of the most remarkable films of the day, entitled, “413.” It is one of the well-known Vitagraph produnions and is full of exciting incidents and has a most surprising, but happy finish. Other pictures of special merit are : “Duke Kahanamoku at Wellington,” a national carnival in the capital of the Dominion; “The Man in the Vault,” drama; “Performing Bears,” interest; “In the Grip of the Plumber,” comic ; “A Horseshoe for Luck,” comic ; “The Latest Topical Gazette,” WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY. The management has pleasure in introducing a filmic treat in the Nnrdisk Company’s star drama, “Children ot the Circus.” It is magnificently mounted, splendidly acted, beautifully coloured, and featuring Madame Baptista, the famous horsewoman. Here is a a stirring story of circus life, showing the intimate daily life of a circus performer, with the true details. The narrative concerns a performer, who is deeply in love with his wife, suddenly being carried from his mental balance by jealousy. He sees his wife making sigus to a handsome lieutenant sitting in the auditorium. The sad result is that he mistakes his aim (it is a snapshooting act), and be kills his wife. The drama takes you along the path of the performer's life. He sends his little daughter to a boarding school and she grows into a beautiful woman aud her father’s idol. Then happens the tragedy that spoils the unfortunate man’s life and leaves his daughter broken-hearted and alone. The supporting hlms are ol the usual high standard.
