FULLER’S PICTURES
THE PANAMA EXPOSITION. The current programme at Fuller’s coutains an item of more than ordinary interest, and in spite of counter attractions, was well patronised last night. The film, “The Panama Exposition,” gives a splendid idea of the wonders of the great Exposition, and also in conjunction therewith Is shown the most exciting motorcar race that has ever been seen, the Vanderbilt Cup. The accidents in this race were alarming, and, to give some idea of the pace at which the cars went, the winner averaged 74 miles an hour for the whole journey. Among the supporting films are the following excellent items: An exciting number of the Helen Holmes series of railway dramas, “The Open Drawbridge,” and a frolicsome Edison comedy filled with funny episodes, “The Flirt.”
FRIDAY & SATURDAY
An outstanding feature of Frl day’s change of programme is a powerfully exciting drama from the Vitagraph studios, “The Girl in the Case.” A bank president and his assistant, to recoup losses through speculation, plot to rob the bank. Their plan is overheard by the stenographer, whose lover is to bear the guilt of the robbery. The bank is robbed, and the money put in a case. The girl takes the money out of the case, gets in the case herself, and is carried away to the president’s home. The story has a rattling finish. The supporting films are an excellent lot, including a popular Keystone comedy, two good dramas, Topical Gazette, and others.
