ALICE PARKINSON’S SENTENCE.
PETITION FOR REMISSION NAPtUR, October 4.
The petition in favour of the remission of the sentence for manslaughter imposed on Alice Parkinson has 62,187 signatures to date, inducing 10.590 for Hawke’s Bay. Petitions with over 60,000 signatures have been forwarded to the Governor, aud the last volume of the petition is now 7 in preparation.
