FULLER’S PICTURES
The current programme at the Town Hall is of the usual high standard set by Fullers, Ltd. An outstanding feature is a rattling Keystone, featuring Syd. Chaplin, ‘'Hushing the Scandal.’' Mr Droppington is to announce his engagement to the lady of his choice, and at a garden fete iu honour of the occasion, Mr Breezinglon appears on the horizon. What follows is told iu the Keystone’s own way, and is responsible for a continuous ripple of laughter. Supporting items consist of; “The Cascades of North Devon,” a charming scenic ; “The Baby’s Ride,” comedy-drama ; the Latest Topical Gazette ; “Fine Feathers Make Fine Birds,” a sympathetic drama, and other entertaining films. WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY. The change of piogramme for Wednesday and Thursday includes a screening that will arouse the greatest interest, showing scenes by day and night, including the wonderfully exciting motor race the Vanderbilt Cup of the Panama Exposition. The Panama Exposition was opened on 20th February, 1915, and is expected to exceed the records of any of the big American exhibitions. The beauty of the Exposition charmed everyone; tire truly woudertul illumination effects swept them off their feet. In conjunction with this great film there is shown the most exciting motor car race that has ever been seen. This is a film that should not be missed by anyone. With a full complement of scenic, dramatic, comic and topical items. BARTON BROS.’ CIRCUS. TO-MORROW NIGHT! Bat ton Bros., with their complete new circus, visit Foxtou tomorrow. Since the previous visit Mr Barton has searched far and wide for new artists, aud has been successful in his enterprise, and is able to produce several of the most sensational turns ever introduced into a circus arena. The three Dentines are marvellous aerialists, who perform a number of deathdefying feats. Miss Linda Dentine, one of the clever team, goes through some remarkable evolutions on a rope held iu the teeth of her partners, who hang by their toes to a horizontal ladder. Shand aud Shand are comedy, acrobats with a great reputation, and present an extremely clever and original act. Miss Kitty Shand is an acknowledged lady champion acrobat “Moe Aerons and A 1 vino,” direct from St. Leons (United Stales) Circus, have brought with them quite a budget of humorous sayings and sketches. Another special attraction for the tour is “Coco aucl Chico, engaged by arrangement with Messrs Puller and Sous. They are described as “Human Chimpanzees,” and introduce woudertul and weird acts, which cause great amusement. Popular favourites are : Alicia, a skilful lady juggler; Miss Kate Montgomery, the lady equestrienne ; Miss Ethel Ashton, the clever aud versatile artist. These artists have become very popular during the present tour, Mr Roy Barton is still recognised as the premier baio-back rider of the Dominion. Tex McCloud is a genuine Mexican cowboy, aud a skilled shot. A wonderful performance will be given by Gardiner and Le Mar, champion exponents of jujitsu. Tommy James, the well-known buckjumping rider, will appear with a full complement of trained horses, mules and monkeys. The combination is one of the largest and best that has ever toured the Dominion. A daring and sensational free exhibition will be given by Mr Victor Dentine at 7.30 o'clock In the evening, when he will slide from the top of the huge lent suspended only by the teeth.
