MUSICAL EXAMINATIONS.

SUCCESS OF LOCAL PUPILS. At the musical examinations In connection with Trinity College, Loudon, held in Palmerston on Saturday last, seven pupils Irom St. Mary’s Convent were presented, and all passed successfully, three gaining honours. The names are as follow : —Senior ; Gladys Walls (honours). Intermediate: Myrtle Pearson (pass), Olive Nye (pass). Junior; Irene Moffatt (honours), Eleanor O’Callaghau (honours), Bernard Gardes (pass), Mary Conchie (pass). The examiner, in congratulating Miss Gladys Walls on the excellent rendering of her pieces and studies, asked her to convey his compliments to her teacher on bringing her to such a high standard.
