ENTERTAINMENTS.

FULLER’S PICTURES. An item ot special interest in the current programme at the Town Hall is the departure of the Maori Contingent from Welling* ton on February 13th. While the star feature, “The Fringe of War,’ is easily one of the best of its kind shown in Foxton for some time. This splendid drama cannot fail to hold the audience in a stale of deep emotion from the time the story opens on to the end of the play. Only when the play is finished that the facts of daily life return. Still the sensation ol being pleasantly entertained remains. Supporting items are; “Wilful Peggy,” comedy drama ; “The Folly of Ann,” drama; “The Honeyraooners,’’ comedy. WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY. The principal attraction in Wednesday’s change of programme is another of the famous Keystone Company’s productions, featuring Roscoe Arbuckle and Mabel Normand in “Fatty’s and Mabel’s Simple Rife.” The scenes of this hilarious farce are laid on a farm. Mabel Normand is seen milking a cow and Fatty feeding a calf. The fun and laughter start immediately and there is no let-up till the climax; even then one- carries the memory of the many funny situations to giggle over in idle moments. Included in the programme are scenic, dramatic, comic and topical items.
