THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The High Commissioner cabled yesterday at noon as follows : • The hemp market is slightly firmer owing to a rise on the Manila exchange. New Zealand prices are steady, but buyers are not anxious to operate. Good fair £32, fair forward shipment is nominally the same prices. Manila new graded 10s. The output of Manila for the week was 20,000 bales.
