PATRIOTIC LECTURE.

TOWN IT AT.I,-TUKSD A Y . NIGHT. A leclnrc will he delivered in the Town Hall on Tuesday evening next, under the auspices of the Foxton Patriotic Society, by Mr IT. Foston, author and lecturer, on the present war. The lecture will he illustrated by 140 slides from the theatre of war and patriotic songs will be rendered. The Mayor (Mr Alf. Fraser) will preside. Mr Foston has won a wide reputation as a lecturer and the absorbing subject should attract everyone who is interested in the present gigantic struggle. Half the proceeds are in aid of the local Wounded Soldiers’ Fund and the low prices, is to any part of the hall, children half price, should attract a lull house.
