THE “NATIONAL CABINET.”

YESTERDAY’S CONFERENCE AT GOVERNMENT HOUSE. NO OFFICIAL REPORT YET. No official report was issued yesterday concerning the outcome of the conference of party leaders at Government House. The Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition, each accompanied by three prominent members of his party, met at the Vice-Regal residence at 4 p.ra. His Excellency the Governor, who had suggested the further conference, was present. The proceedings occupied nearly two hours. The Opposition caucus met this morning. It Is confidently stated in wedinformed circles that the new proposals submitted will be acceptable to both parties.
