SICKNESS IN CAMP.
REPORTS FROM MILITARY HOSPITALS. The following is the official summary of the bulletins from the military hospitals for the twenty, four hours prior to noon yesterday : Trenthara.— Of the serious cases, one (appendicitis) was removed to the Wellington hospital for operation. In one case there is no change, one varies from hour to hour, two much better, sixteen are improving, and three are under observation. Wellington.—One (pneumonia; no improvement, two (meningitis) no improvement, two (phthisis) condition serious, one admission not serious, one discharged ; the other cases were improving. Kaiwarra.—No serious cases ; eighteen discharged.. Palmerston North. —No serious cases. The particulars regarding all cases have still to be supplied. Tanherenikan. Sore throats, ten ; measles, eleven ; rheumatism, one ; minor surgical cases, five ; lymphangitis, one ; vaiicole, one ; varicose, one ; lumbago, one ; no serious cases. Waikanae. —Condition of one serious case improved ; admissions, seven; discharges, thirteen. Present totals are : Measles, thirty ; minor surgical, two ; convalescent, thirty-seven.
