RAILWAY FACILITIES AT RANGIOTU.

Mr W. H. Field M.P., has received the following reply re the above from the General Manager of Railways, under date 21st inst: “With reference to your interview with and the petition presented to the Hon. Minister o< Railways regarding the provision of additional sidings, and stock loading facilities at Rangiotu, I have the honour to inform you that the request that I should personally visit Rangiotu and meet a deputation of settlers, will be kept in view should a suitable opportunity offer.”
