FOXTON PALMERSTON ROAD.

Now that the Government has decided to remove the greater portion of the military camp at Trentham to Rangiotu, the Kairanga and Mauawatu County Councils will have an extra burden cast on their shoulders in respect to putting and keeping the arterial road between Foxton and Palmerston in order. At present the road is in need of repair, and with the tremendous increase of traffic that it will be subjected to, immediate steps will be necessary to put It in order. Under tbe exceptional circumstances the Counties should without delay, approach the Government for a grant in aid of this work.
