TOWN CLERK’S REPORT.
The Town Clerk reported as follows at last night’s Council meeting: — “I have to report that since last meeting the road staff has been engaged as under : Cleaning drains in Johnson, Furcell, Reeve, Baker and Howan Streets, Avenue Road and No. 6 Tine, altering trough at windmill, filling holes in Johnston Street, clearing water tables Main, Cook and Hillary Streets, and repairing kerbing in Avenue road. The various works recommended to be proceeded with will be found In the Public Works Committee’s report.”
