The Horowbenua Hockey Association’s competition will be commenced to-morrow. The following are the fixtures for the first round : May 26. —Foxtou v. Shannon at Foxtou, Levin A v. Levin B at Levin. June 9. —Levin A v. Shannon at Shannon, Foxtou v. Levin B at Levin. June 16. —Levin A v. Foxtou at Foxton, Levin B v. Shannon at Shannon.
The Foxton’s Club first competition match will be played on the racecourse to-morrow afternoon commencing at 2.30 o’clock, when Shannon will be their opponents. The following is the team selected loreprrr’-o the local club; V. Robinso; , .Woodroofe, R. McMurray, S. Bryant, H. Baug'neu, Read, S. Austin, W, Hunt, K. Furr-ie, C. Robinson. Emer., N. Bryant.
