MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB.
The adjourned meeting: of those interested in the formation of a miniature rifle club was held last night, Mr W. Kirkiey presiding. It was decided to accept Mr Hamer’s offer of premises at ios per week. Membership of the club is open to both ladies and gentlemen and the subscription was fixed at gentlemen 5 S > ladies as 6d. Rifles will be provided for members if required and ammunition can be obtained from the secretary. The secretary was authorised to have all the necessary work for the fitting up ot the range put in hand immediately, and the opening night was fixed for Tuesday, June ist. It was decided that no member be allowed to take part until his subscription is paid, and no shooting to be done except under the supervision of the range officers. Intending members are requested to hand their names to the secretary, Mr C. Simmons. A further meeting will be held on Thursday evening next to make all arrangements for the opening.
