RACING.
FEUDING MEETING
The Feildiog Jockey Club’s meetings are among the most popular in the North Island, and in consequence of the line weather the attendance yesterday was very large indeed, and must have constituted a record for the course. Business on the totalisator was good, the sum ol ,£29,610 being handled during the day, which is an increase of 6 over dealt with on the first day of the last Easter meeting. Charlie Price had a day out, his mount being placed on each occasion, riding three winners, two seconds and a third. Three Foxton trained horses raced yesterday, their record being two seconds. Moutoa Girl ran a good race in the Hurdles, finishing next to Sir Donald and Master Moutoa ran second to Sir Fisher. Captain Macky was the last to finish in the Hurdles, about 50 yards behind the field. Hoises trained by F- Tilley of Fordell, finished fust and second in the big race, and he also trained the winner of the Waiata Hack. The following are the results : Waiata Hack. —Client 1, Veto 2. Kawa Kawa Hurdles. Sir Donald 1, Moutoa Girl 2, Flingot 3. Time, 3 min 55 sec. Hunters’ Steeplechase.—General Webb 1, Grey Renown 2, Roseblush 3. Time 4 min. 34 2 5 sec. Onepuhi Hack Welter. Sir Fisher 1, Master Moutoa 2, Foie 3. Time, 1 min 46 2-5 sec. Ongo Hack.—King Chiara 1, Hushabye 2, Vladincau 3. Time, 1 min 9 sec. Halcombe Welter.—George 1, Princess Moutoa 2, Mullifual 3.
