THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner cabled this afternoon as follows :—■
The hemp market is firm especially for near at hand shipments. On account of the congestion at the docks spot parcels command a premium. Good fair fair Manila £±o ios, forward shipment, good fair ios, fair ,£32 ios, Manila £4O. The output of Manila for the week was 20,000 bales.
