A six roomed house in Hulke Street is advertised to I-.t, by Mr A!f. Fraser, also six acres of grazing land near the centre of the town. A five pound note, lost on Saturday, is advertised for. Finder will be rewarded on returning same to this office. The person who removed a garden hose from the N.Z. Shipping Co.’s residence is requested to return same to avoid trouble. It is notified that the premises of the C. M. Ross Company, Ltd., will be closed all day to-morrow (Wednesday) for the purpose of further marking down the unsold balance of summer stock, which is to be cleared out by a three days’ “Gift Price Sale,” on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this week. Big bargains will be the order of procedure of those three days, as most thrifty buyers will know.
