The Rev D. C. Bates wires today as follows; Westerly wind strong to gale veering by west to south ; the weather appears likely to he cloudy and unsettled rain ; rain probable. Ihe barometer has a falling tendency, but rising slowly after about 20 hours. Sea rough, tides moderate.
