BOROUGH FINANCES.
The Borough Treasurer reported at Tuesday night’s Council meeting as follows “I have to report that since last meeting the following amounts were received and placed to credit of the undermentioned accounts, viz., £615 9s 8d for District Fund and £t.\ 17s 6d for Cemetery Account. The ledger balances ot the various accounts are as under: Cemetery £g i4s 2d, contractors’ deposits gas works is rod, Whirokino bridge loan £1 is Bd, roads and streets loan cs id, Shannon bridge loan £7 '-'s Bd. Council Chamber >• public library loan £7 12s Whirokino bridge additions loan 17s nd road and streets loan £2l ~'*s 2J reserves ,£l3l 19 s y d, sa.. ath., £7O 2s nd all in credit, a 1 count ,£302 19s -d, br.ach "-ua loan account £g j Sd, library a 6 o« 3d, town hall 3s 49, at debit which v.-itl impresc casu makes a total ot 3s yd.
