Two or three girls are wanted for the Rope Works. On page 3of this issue Ccllinson and Son, of Palmerston N., advertise some summer sale parcels carriage paid. For further details see advt. By replace advertisement Mr G. H. Stiles notifies that his haltyearly sale is in full swing and all in search of real tip top bargains should carefully peruse the advt. which appears on page 2. Tenders are invited for deepening and cleaning drains at Himatanga lakes. The work will be let in four contracts, and specifications may be seen at the Foxton Cordage and Flaxmilling Company’s office and Sorenson’s Store, Himatangi. Intending tenderers will be shown over the work on Monday, 14th and Thursday 18th, leaving Sorenson’s store at 11 o’clock. Tenders addressed to Mr H. G. Hammond, Oroua Downs, close on the 20th instant.
